Where did the year go...

I have been soo busy and have forgotten all about my blog...Its already a new Year and so much as happened!! My little one is now 18 months (almost) and I will soon have a 8 yr old..on the 7th of Feb. and a pre-teen..ahhhhh!!! WOW, am I that old?! I still can't believe that I am in my early 30's..weird!

SO I will be a proud Aunt to 3, yes 3 neices/nephews this coming summer..I am SOO EXCITED!! I love babies..I now get to watch a 4 month old, and get my baby fix....then send her home! and of course a little extra dough on the side ;)

Shelby is clogging and LOVES it!! She is so good at it and does very well! She loves to read books all the time, she's our shy, girly girl! Love her tons

Conner-man is loving school and does very well, except for the talking...which is crazy, I don't see him talking that much....LOL (yeah right). Though this is what his teacher said, he talks and talks..yet still manages to get ALL his school work done..hmmm

Mak is our crazy full of personality.. she is full of it!!! She keeps us on our toes!! She loves dancing around and playing with whom ever plays with her!!

Kolton is walking and chabbering all the time! He thinks he's the MAN of his brother and sisters..He is so fun I love this age!!!
Quinn and I are calling-less!! I can't believe it, I haven't been to Relief Society in ages!! I am excited to enjoy it though, Kolton will be headed into Nursery next month YAY! hehe.. I am grateful for my kiddo's and their personalities! They truley are the best things in life!!!

I have an amazing Hubby too..works hard so I can stay home with the kids! Love him!

Summer is coming...

Here is the kids in their Easter sunday clothes..

I can't believe that school will be out here in the next 18 days..I think this is the earliest they have ever been out!! Usally not until June. So this is nice, I sure hope the weather keeps like it is.. starting to get green around here, and the temps have gotten a bit higher!! wahoo!!! I am looking forward to summer vacations, going to the pool, relaxing..baseball games, dance performances..I just can't believe we are in May now.! Time flys by way to fast, or maybe my life is in fast mode..:) haha. My little KJ is getting so big, he will be 1 yrs old this Aug. WOW.. he was just born I swear a few months ago..;)

I love my kiddo's and greatful for their sweet spirits. They grow up so fast, too fast!

My baby girl is turning 10!!!!

I can't believe that my Lil shelbs is turning 10 tomorrow. The time has flown by way to fast, I can remember when I brought her home..So small and tiny. Now she is growing and becoming a sweet little young lady!

I love ya shelbs. You are the greatest gift that Our Heavenly Father sent to us 10 yrs ago!!! We are proud of all you do, and proud of all the accomplishments you strive to do every day.

Just Thinking...

I was on my facebook and looking at people's post and their comments, I ran across my cousins who's post are no longer available... I was looking at her pictures and got teary eyed..Maybe its because of all that's been going on, or what has gone on.. I guess I just thought about how she is up there in Heaven and is free!! She has many whom love her and miss her, it hit me though, how she struggled so many, many years and how she braved this world and braved her sickness and her time came to go live with our Heavenly Father..I think of him so much, I think of how he loves ALL of his children and how we need to get our lives put together so we can come home to him again!

Maybe these feelings are just the Holy Ghost being with me, I have much to work on and much to teach to my kids.. in so little of time. My mother-in-laws cancer, my sweet sister who struggles. It just makes me THINK...sometimes too much thinking.

My kids have been sick with colds, and flu..I always, ALWAYS get so stressed out,and feel like I can't handle it... my Amazing husband has been helping me out, he is terrific. I love him so much!!! My life is great and I am grateful for family friends and well, everyone who always has a wonderful spirit about them.. I guess I try to figure out things that are over my head, why? I think sometimes I just need to relax and work on my "stuff" and help my kids' with their "stuff" and do what my Heavenly Father WANTs me to do! Trust and Faith... it seems easier said than done.. :)

Always great NEWS!!!

So I think this is great news! My mother in-law is DONE with chemo..and was done with radiation this last friday! WAHOO.... Hopefully in the next few weeks she will start feeling like herself again! Then they will be going in and checking in April, to see if the cancer is gone..(which it will be, fingers crossed) .

I knew she could pull through this and that she could handle the chemo and radiation..I sure don't know many people who could've done as well as she has! I know I couldn't. The doctor's told her that she will live to be an old age!!! Shelby, is so glad, she has had a hard time dealing with this and I know she can now go to school and not worry about her grandma anymore.. She is very close to her and loves her grandma!!

On the other hand, My dad has chosen to get re-baptised!!!!!!!!! Yippie!!! I am so greatful for the Holy Ghost, and that it can help us make wonderful choices if we choose to follow it! He has made a tremendous step in his life! I am so glad, We could not go down this week as Quinn had to work. But I hope he knows we love him, and are happy he chose to become a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, again!! We love you dad, and are happy to see you back! Love you tons!

Here we come 2011..!!!

Wow, time sure flys by when your busy and having kids..lol! I can't believe its another new year..I hope I can accomplish the things this year.. I really need to lose some unwanted weight since...oh, Makayla was born! I guess I just need to get motivated and get'r done ;)

I am blessed for a wonderful family we have, I'm excited to have a reunion this upcoming year, spending time with family and friends. Also good news to my mother-in-law..the doctor's gave her a prognosis that it looks really good after all the chemo and radiation! WAHOOO!!!!

Good news all around the Maddox family! I am grateful for a hubby and children who choose the right and want to do the right.. well most of the time, THEY'RE kids!!! (yes the hubby too) . I need to post some pic's, as soon as I get my little disk to do it I will!

Merry Christmas!

I would like to say to everyone, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hope everyone has a joyable day with friends and family. I can't believe how it keeps sneeking up on me..next week will be hecktic but fun! The kids don't get out til NEXT tue!! Yes, I said NEXT tue. Which they have parties that I supposely signed up for, and signed up for both classes.. oh well. The kids are excited!!

So much seems to be happening this Christmas time. Good and not so good.., but with faith and our Savior Jesus Christ, we can find peace and happiness. I am grateful for all that I have, a warm home, food, clothes, childern whom are healthy and happy, and a husband who supports me in all I do, and supports us financially. I have it made!!! All I want for christmas this year is to see my family happy and the joy of smiles and laughter fill the house! I am looking forward to baking with my childern and hope that I can start a tradition with them!

This past sunday, we had an unexpected knock at the door.. which was a gift left on our door step with the "first day of christmas" sign on the gift.. The kids were so excited and couldn't believe someone would leave us something for us to share in. The next day we had a ring at the door and another gift of "second day of christmas".. I've never been a part of a 12 days of christmas..

I am so blessed and grateful to whomever thought of our family this season and to share something amazing. I still don't know who it is. they sure do run extremely fast!
